A Historic Beginning

From 8-11 January 2026, in the ancient city of Madurai, The Rise 16th Global Summit of Tamil Entrepreneurs & Professionals became a defining moment in the modern history of the global Tamil community.

What began as a global gathering of entrepreneurs and professionals evolved into something far greater. A shared vision. A collective commitment. A movement that seeks to strengthen Tamil entrepreneurship, promote knowledge and innovation, preserve cultural identity, and create lasting prosperity for generations to come.

The summit brought together nearly 2,000 delegates from more than 50 countries, representing business, technology, healthcare, education, finance, logistics, public service, and community leadership. Together, they affirmed a bold vision for the future and formally inaugurated the Sangam5 Era, a seventy-year journey dedicated to building a globally respected, influential, and united Tamil community from 2026 to 2096.

Sangam5 was never intended to be remembered simply as a summit.

It was conceived as the beginning of a long-term movement. A movement that inspires collaboration over competition, shared prosperity over individual success, and enduring institutions over short-term achievements. It is a call to entrepreneurs, professionals, scholars, innovators, and future generations to work together in shaping a stronger Tamil future.
